Tokens

A token is a placeholder in your agreement, written as {{name}}, that SignBreezy fills when a contract is prepared. The tables below list every token the editor offers, grouped the way the editor groups them. Money prints in the contract's currency and dates print formatted, such as Oct 16, 2026.

Reservation

Stay

TokenFills with
{{check_in}}Check-in date
{{check_out}}Check-out date
{{num_nights}}Whole nights between the two dates
{{door_code}}The door code entered on the reservation

Pricing

TokenFills with
{{room_subtotal}}The rent for the whole stay, from the booking
{{nightly_rate}}Room subtotal divided by nights. An average, since nights may be priced differently
{{subtotal}}Same as the room subtotal. Does not include fees
{{cleaning_rate}} or {{cleaning_fee}}The fee whose name contains "clean". Blank when there is none
{{total}}Room subtotal, plus all fees, plus all taxes

Taxes

TokenFills with
{{tax_1}}, {{tax_2}}, {{tax_3}}The amount of the property's first, second, and third tax line
{{tax_total}}All tax lines added up

TokenFills with
{{property_name}}The property's name
{{property_address}}Street address, line 2, city and state, and ZIP, comma separated
{{property_city}}City
{{property_state}}State
{{property_zip}}ZIP or postal code

Guest provided

These are filled from what the guest types when they sign. Using one in the document is what causes the guest to be asked for it.

Guest

TokenFills with
{{guest_full_name}}The name the guest typed, or the name on the reservation
{{guest_address}}The guest's full address. Using it asks for all five parts below
{{guest_street}}Street address
{{guest_city}}City
{{guest_state}}State or province
{{guest_zip}}ZIP or postal code
{{guest_country}}Country
{{guest_email}}Email. Always collected
{{guest_phone}}Mobile phone. Always collected
{{guest_phone_last4}}The last four digits of the phone
{{num_adults}}Number of adults
{{num_kids}}Number of children

Additional guests

{{guest_2_name}}, {{guest_2_email}}, and {{guest_2_phone}} for the second adult, and the same pattern up to guest 10. The editor lists only the slots the property's maximum guests allows, and only the fields the property asks about.

Your questions

Every question you add contributes its own token, such as {{dog_name}}. A yes/no answer prints as the word Yes or No.

Signing

These are the only tokens filled when the guest signs rather than when the contract is prepared. A contract with no signature token gets a signature page added at the end.

TokenFills with
{{signature}}The primary guest's drawn or typed signature
{{signer_name}}The primary guest's printed name
{{signature_date}}The date they signed
{{guest_2_signature}}, {{guest_2_signature_date}}The second adult's signature and date, and so on up to guest 10. Their printed name is {{guest_2_name}}

Calculated fields

A calculated field is a token you build from other tokens with a formula, such as a deposit or a late fee. See Formulas for how to write them.
