Settings and Billing
Open Settings or Billing from the Account group in the side navigation. Your email address and account menu are in the top bar on every page.

Prepare contracts by email
This card shows your private forwarding address. Forward a booking confirmation email to it and SignBreezy reads the reservation, matches it to a property by name, and prepares the contract using that property's agreement or your default template. Setting a forwarding rule in your mail app makes this automatic. See Getting Started for how forwarded emails are matched and priced.
Keep this address private. Anyone who has it can prepare contracts on your account. If it gets out, tap Generate a new address. The current address stops working immediately, with no grace period, so update any forwarding rule that points at it.
Getting started
Set up a property relaunches the guided setup from the beginning: forward a reservation or use a sample one, choose the agreement, and prepare a first contract. Everything it makes is real and yours to edit afterwards, so it is also the quickest way to add another property.
Google Docs
Write your agreement in Google Docs and let SignBreezy fill it in. Tap Connect Google to grant access. SignBreezy asks for two permissions only: your email address, and access to files it creates in your Drive. It can never see the rest of your Drive. When you choose an existing document from your Drive, SignBreezy works from a copy, so your original is never changed.
Once connected, the card shows Connected as your Google email and the date. Disconnect removes SignBreezy's access. Your documents stay in your Drive. Reconnecting later replaces the old connection rather than adding a second one.
If connecting fails with a message about a missing refresh token, remove SignBreezy from your Google account's connected apps and try again.
Retention
Each property has its own retention period for signed agreements and ID documents. The default is four years. Retention is managed on the property page, not here.
Account, password, and sign out
Tap your avatar in the top bar to manage your account, change your password, set up two-factor authentication, or sign out. There are no account security settings on the Settings page itself.
Billing
SignBreezy is pay as you go. You add credit to your balance and each contract or ID check draws from it. One credit is one US dollar.
| Item | Price | Covers |
|---|---|---|
| Contract | $3.00 per contract | Create, send, sign, and securely store the agreement |
| ID verification | $1.00 per signer | Optional identity check, only when enabled on a property |
There is no subscription and no monthly fee, and credit never expires.
A contract is charged once, when it is prepared. Sending, resending, or a guest revisiting the link costs nothing more. Collecting a photo of a guest's ID is free. Only the verification check against the person is charged, and only if it actually ran. An abandoned check is never billed.
Nothing in the signing flow checks your balance. If your balance runs out mid-month, contracts keep sending, ID checks keep working, and guests keep signing. Your balance simply goes negative until you add funds. A negative balance is shown in red on the Billing page and in the side navigation, with a reminder to add funds.
Your balance
The Billing page leads with your balance and roughly how many standard contracts it covers. The same figure appears at the bottom of the side navigation on every page.
Add funds
Choose $25, $50, $100, or $250, or tap Custom and enter any amount from $5 to $1,000. Payment is handled by Stripe inside the page. Card details never touch SignBreezy's servers.
Your balance updates a few seconds after Stripe confirms the payment. If it has not caught up, refresh the page. Every top-up produces a Stripe invoice that you can open from Billing history.
Automatic top-ups
Turn on Automatic top-ups so you never run out of credit. Set When balance is below and Add this amount, then tap Save amounts.
- The default threshold is $5.00 and the default amount is $20.00. The amount can be $20, $25, $50, $100, or $250.
- A top-up fires immediately after the charge that takes your balance below the threshold, not on a schedule.
- Automatic top-ups need a saved card. If you have not saved one yet, switching this on arms it for your next payment. That payment saves your card and the switch turns on when it lands.
- Turning it off is one click and takes effect immediately.
- If an automatic payment is declined, nothing is retried and your balance stays low. Add funds by hand.
Billing history
Every payment and every charge, newest first. The page shows the five most recent rows. Tap View all activity for the full list.
- Added $X of credit is a payment you made. Added $X of credit automatically is an automatic top-up.
- Contract — Dorothy K. and ID verification — Dorothy K. are charges. Guest names are shortened to a first name and initial, so this page is safe to hand to a bookkeeper.
- View receipt opens the Stripe invoice for a payment. Charges have no receipt of their own. The top-up above them is the receipt.
